Rachael Slate is a first-year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology program at BYU. She received her B.S. in Psychology from Michigan State University in 2017. After graduation, she worked for two years as a Clinical Research Lab Manager in the department of Psychology at Michigan State University with Dr. Katy Thakkar on various schizophrenia and neuroimaging studies. She is broadly interested in psychosis, with a focus in clinical neuropsychology. More specifically, she is interested in studying the genetic underpinnings and biological markers of psychosis, and exploring how these aspects can be found in other neurological disorders. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, dancing, watching the Office over and over, and eating carbs.
