Dr. Shields is a Clinical Neuropsychologist at the Utah State Hospital and Affiliate Faculty at Brigham Young University. Dr. Shields serves as the liaison between the Utah State Hospital and BYU for the completion of a clinical trial investigating the effects of Cognitive Remediation for an inpatient psychiatric population. Her clinical interests include geriatric neuropsychological assessment, neurodegenerative disorders, and cognitive remediation. Her other interests include hiking, skiing, and spending time with her corgi, Winston.
