I’m an undergraduate student majoring in neuroscience with a minor in psychology. I chose to major in neuroscience because I’ve always loved anything related to science. After taking psychology classes in both high school and college that I really enjoyed, I considered changing my major to psychology. As I learned more about neuroscience though, I realized it was the perfect combination of biology and psychology.
I joined the BIB Lab because I love learning about how the brain works and how it influences our thoughts, behaviors, and experiences, and I especially enjoy learning about the connection between the brain and behavior. I think there is still so much we don’t know about these fields and I want to be able to contribute to research that helps us understand it better. I’m excited to gain research experience and see where this experience takes me. In the future, I hope to have a career in neuroscience research, especially on the cognitive and behavioral side of the field.
Outside of school and work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love rock climbing, skiing, hiking, and pretty much anything that gets me outdoors.
