I’m an undergraduate pursuing a degree in neuroscience because I’m fascinated by what it means to be – to perceive experience, interact with others, and seek meaning. All of this is only possible with the brain and I love learning about the mechanisms that make it work. The more I learn, it’s fascinating to see how differently I look at myself and others, and humbling to realize how little is known.

I joined the BIB lab to better understand the brain and how it changes when afflicted by disease. I enjoy the challenge of learning skills like computation and analysis and am excited by the research opportunities they entail.

Outside of school and the lab, I love to read, run, play soccer, and spend time with my beautiful wife.
