I joined the BYU BIB Lab because I was fascinated with the neurobiological nature of diseases like schizophrenia that are somewhat elusive in terms of finding solutions to the problems they present. Learning how to inquire about these complex issues as well as contributing to the knowledge in this field is very rewarding! I chose Psychology as my major because being in a position to better understand and alleviate psychological or mental suffering has always been a goal of mine, and majoring in psychology seemed to best fit that vision. After graduating, I plan on attending medical school and furthering my research interests as well. Additionally, I would love to specialize in psychiatry or neurology. Outside of school and the lab, I love snowboarding, hiking, and pretty much anything in the mountains! When I am stuck with busy work at a desk, history podcasts fill my time!
