made the decision to pursue a degree in neuroscience because of several experiences I had that helped me to more fully appreciate the importance of our brains and nervous systems. When I received a concussion and subsequently faced two years of post-concussion syndrome symptoms, I had the opportunity to meet with several unique types of specialists in the field, which really sparked my interest in neuroscience.

I joined the BIB Lab because of a particular interest I have in clinical neuropsychology, which is, in part, influenced by my father's diagnosis with schizophrenia. Both clinical neuropsychology and schizophrenia are quite relevant to the lab, which helps to add meaning to what I do.

Aside from learning more about the brain, I love to explore the outdoors, play spikeball, and be with friends.
