I found my way to neuroscience from a few other majors through meeting with professors and undergoing neurosurgery. There are many majors that range between concrete mathematics and the study of people. Most people studying STEM need to find their preferred balance and neuroscience is where I found mine. The BIB Lab has helped me apply my engineering background to neuroscience research using computational methods and statistical models.
I enjoy camping, backpacking, canoeing, kayaking, weight lifting, soccer, basketball, and reading (primarily fiction). Neuroscience is pretty cool too :)
